Community Garden Nights & Harvests Tuesdays 12-7pm (noon 'til dusk), 4-7pm (guided harvest) Thursdays 4-7pm (occasionally paired with Workshops) Weekly evenings of garden tending, harvest and distribution efforts New gardens need regular TLC, and we facilitate regular group harvests that direct produce into neighborhood food banks, educational programs, and other local points of access while sending volunteers home with goods. Join us here to create a deeper relationship with the land while cultivating and sharing food forest abundance. While FAFF is always a public space to walk-in and enjoy, harvesting with us during scheduled times creates more opportunity for an exchange and education around plant identification, food safety, and regenerative harvesting practices. *Tuesdays and Thursdays end at 6pm in October and 5pm in November* Third-Saturday Herbal Circle & Edible Plant Walks Every 3rd Saturday March-November Edible Plant Walk 2:30-3:30pm, Herbal Circle 3:30-5:30pm A special Herbalism-focused initiative Join us for free Workshops in partnership with local Philadelphia wellness educators. We start the afternoon with an Edible Plant Walk around the Food Forest, with each session influenced by which plants are in abundance at the time, what people have questions about, and the Herbalism practices that will be offered in the workshop.
