ABOUT

Us

Community-powered

Fair Amount Food Forest is community-driven. This project fosters teamwork, leadership, and community resiliency and will be accomplished through a transparent, inclusive community process.

Community-defined

FAFF has been explored slowly and intentionally in response to community feedback, organic connections, and willing partners. The FAFF Coalition operates with a focus on consensus and inclusion for the purpose of creating a community-driven resource.

Food Access and Open Harvest

In the food forest, a great diversity of food producing plants are planted in mimicry of a woodland ecosystem. FAFF will be open harvest for sampling to visitors, while collective harvests are facilitated and distributed regularly.

Educational

This project is centered around teaching and learning how to grow food, community, and to protect the environment together. Demonstrations of a wide variety of food production and gardening techniques, sustainable infrastructure, and self-sufficiency with extensive signage, workshops and school tours will be included in this living learning laboratory.
Fair Amount Food Forest is fiscally sponsored by the Experimental Farm Network.
The Experimental Food Network's EIN is 26-2847063
